About Us

We’re on a mission to help the helpless, stand up for the voiceless, and shelter those without a roof over their heads in Nairobi. We’re doing this by raising awareness of the homeless population’s plight so that we can inspire collective action through our programs and efforts.

Currently, The Homeless of Nairobi under the Odijo Foundation focuses on a number of programs. We are currently rehabilitating 90 children and youth rescued from the streets where they are provided with food, shelter, clothing, counseling services, and basic education.

We continue to work closely with the relevant departments in the Government of Kenya and Non-Governmental organization including the ministry of public health and sanitation, Kenya Red Cross, the Constituency Aids Control Council, Consolata Catholic Church, Don Bosco Catholic Church, Eastlands College of Technology, Strathmore University, NEMA, and people of goodwill.

Founder

Clifford Chianga Oluoch

Clifford founded Homeless of Nairobi to provide opportunities for the homeless population of Nairobi. The goal was not only to provide food and shelter, but to give the homeless a platform and voice to reach out to the world.

As a teacher, writer, and philanthropist, Clifford is passionate about educating youth and giving young people the chance to grow. Clifford established HoN to provide the daily feeding of street children, rescue and integration of street children and most importantly giving the street families hope for a better future.

I will be part of the solution to rid Kenya of this malady and give the homeless population a voice to reach out to the world.
