Shule Mtaani

Empower, Educate, Rehabilitate

Shule Mtaani is a program under the Odijo Foundation (Homeless Of Nairobi) that seeks to Empower, Educate and Rehabilitate street youth through a mentorship program and work placement.

Shule Mtaani was started by ‘bringing’ school to children and youth on the streets. We aim to equip these youth with basic skills that will allow them to secure employment or to start their own ventures in the workforce.

Help us give these youth a chance in life.

Apprenticeship

Currently based in Deep Sea slums in Highridge Parklands, but also working with other slums in Nairobi, Shule Mtaani seeks apprenticeship opportunities for young adults over the age of 18 for a period of 3 to 6 months in workshops, factories, farms, restaurants, supermarkets and more.

The main objective of the apprenticeship is to expose the boys to a different world of work and discipline and provide networking opportunities with other Kenyan professionals.  We equip these young adults with the necessary skills to contribute to society and the work force.

Be part of the change by giving an opportunity to someone else.
